How do guests RSVP with Gather?

Does Gather "send" invitations?

No. Gather does not send invitations. You remain in complete control of who receives what.

Guests access their Personal Guest Hub at Gather by scanning your QR code, entering your URL or clicking a link that you share with them.

You choose how to share your link with guests; by email or text, WhatsApp or any other channel. You can also include your QR code or URL on printed invitations.

How much does it cost to use Gather?

You can set up your celebration and try Gather free for 21 days. When you're ready, activate your Gather account for a one of fee of £99. We offer a 14 day money back guarantee, so if you change your mind after activating your account, we'll give you a full refund.

How long will my account be available after my celebration?

Your Gather account will be available for 90 days after your last event date. We will send you a reminder before your account is closed.

What if I change my mind after I paying?

You have 14 days to request a refund and close your account. Please email [email protected] from your registered email address to request a refund and closure of your account - refunds will not be processed automatically by deleting your account from your dashboard.

Is my Guest Area private?

Yes. Your personal RSVP link is not listed with search engines. Only people you share it with, and whose name is on your guest list, will be able to access your Guest Area.

Is there a limit on the number of guests I can have?

No. You can add as many guests to as you like.

Do you have an app?

No. With Gather there is no need for you or your guests to download an app. Everything works directly from your phone's browser. You can save Gather to the home screen of your phone via the share icon. You'll then have instant access at all time.

Can I use Gather for non-wedding events?

Yes! We never mention 'Weddings' to your guests and you can name your celebration and events as you wish.

Can guests see details of events they're not invited to?

No. Guests will only ever see details of the events you have assigned them to.

Can I preview my Guest Area before sharing it with guests?

Yes. You view your guests view in the 'Guest Area' tile at the bottom of your dashboard at any time.

Do I still send printed invitations when I use Gather?

It is completely up to you! Gather can be used in conjunction with printed invitations or shared with guests directly from your device.

Once you have paid to activate your account and chosen your personalised URL there are several ways to collect guests responses...

  • Choose your personal Gather URL and download your unique QR code, then include them on printed stationery. Most stationers will be able to print the QR code and URL directly onto your invitations.
  • Purchase Gather Cards that contain your QR code and Gather URL. Include these with printed stationery or hand them to guests.
  • Share your RSVP link with guests using the share settings on your device. Clicking the 'Share' option will open your favourite messaging services to send the link to guests. You can use Whatsapp, SMS, Email or Messenger.
