Designing your Guest Area.
Your Guest Area is the hub of each guest’s personal RSVP journey. It’s only accessible to people on your guest list and only ever contains details of events that guest is invited to.
Guests access their personalised Guest Area by scanning your QR card, entering your URL or following a link you have shared with them. They will then be asked for their name, which must be on your guest list.
To personalise your Guest Area…
- Click View more in the Guest Area module of the dashboard’s main menu.
- Add a celebration name; this will be shown to guests in any notifications, throughout the RSVP journey, and at the top of their personal Guest Area.
- Add a welcome image; shown alongside your celebration name throughout.
- Add a welcome message; shown to guests when they arrive at Gather.
- Add your contact information; displayed within the Guest Area if added.
You can also change the look of your Guest Area to match your wedding aesthetic
- Go to Design theme in the main menu.
- Choose Colours from the options shown.
- Or, Select Show advanced options to create your own colour palette using HEX codes.
- Choose your Font from the options shown.
- A preview of your Guest Area design is displayed as you view the options.
Please note: Your design theme is only applied to your Guest Area, not your Gather app.
