Sending Save the Dates

Gather allows you to create Save the Dates that include a full screen landscape image (on mobile) along with a message to your guests and the date (or dates) you wish to save. You can share your Save the Dates on any platform you choose, including WhatsApp, Messenger, Email and Text.

To share a digital Save the Date with guests, select Save the Dates from the main menu.

First you’ll set your Landing page. This is what guests see when they open your Save the Date, consisting of a full screen portrait image along with your celebration name.

• Edit your Celebration name if required.
• Upload your chosen image and adjust the position and size.

Next you’ll set your guest message screen.

• Edit your Date(s) to save if required.
• Add an optional Message to guests.

Finally, decide whether you would like guests to add their contact details to your guest list after viewing your Save the Date.

Please note: Guest names must already be on your guest list for them to use this service.

• Check the box to activate Contact Collector.
• Check the box if you would like to collect postal addresses.
• Click Save

Your Save the Date is now ready to share. Click the Share with guests button or copy the link.

To change the colours and fonts of your Save the Date click the Edit my theme link at the bottom of the screen.

You can personalise your Save the Date to individual guests or groups by editing the message content and sharing individually.
